Waking Night Family Support Worker
This role requires flexibility to meet the needs of the service, including working shifts to ensure families receive 24/7 support in a fully supported family environment.
The primary objective of the Waking Night role is to create a safe, homely, and nurturing atmosphere for families. Working as part of a dedicated team of support workers, key workers, and social workers, you will provide parents with practical and emotional guidance in parenting and essential life skills.
Parents will be supported in caring for their children while undergoing assessments using appropriate Social Care Parenting Assessment tools. They will be encouraged to develop new skills, emotional resilience, and self-esteem to help them provide safe and effective care for their child/children.
We maintain strong partnerships with parenting service providers across Merseyside, enabling a collaborative approach to supporting families. Our team is deeply committed to making a positive and lasting impact on the lives of the families referred to us.
